Adding a cherry on top of the cake- we witness the beautiful landscape of Kinnaur, explore the quaint villages of Chitkul & Kalpa before continuing the journey to Spiti. Rediscovering vintage Spiti is the place to revive love for the long-lost things. This could be sending a postcard from the highest post office in the World, or go fossil hunting in the villages of Hikkim and Langza respectively. Langza welcomes you with a life size golden statue of Buddha. Other than the skies, there stands another blue marvel on your Trip to Spiti-The Chandratal Lake! Day 01 :

Tour Begins!

The group will assemble at the pick-up point by 8:00 PM (tentative)
We’ll meet the team captains and a small tour briefing session will be conducted.
After which, we’ll head out on an overnight journey to Shimla.
Note: The pickup point would be Majnu Ka Tila (tentative).

Day 02 :

Shimla Arrival & Drive to Chitkul/Sangla

Early in the morning, we’ll arrive in Shimla.
We’ll switch our transportation from Volvo to Tempo Traveller at this point and begin the journey to Chitkul/ Sangla, the last Indian village towards China border.
Experience the journey through magnificent landscapes of Kinnaur valley along the banks of Satluj River.
We’ll reach Chitkul/Sangla by evening.
Dinner and group bonding activities followed by an overnight stay in Chitkul/Sangla.

Day 03 :

Depart Chitkul to Tabo via Reckong Peo - Nako

Wake-up early morning & after breakfast start your journey to Spiti Valley.
En route, we’ll make a brief stop at Reckong Peo town. Additionally, if the weather permits, you might catch a glimpse of Kinnaur Kailash Peak.
Enter Spiti valley through Sumdo Border. Visit Nako Tabo villages en route Kaza.
Cross the Ka loops en route Kaza.
Reach Tabo by evening. Check-in to the hotel.
Dinner and overnight stay at Tabo.

Day 04 :

Drive Tabo to Kaza via Dhankar & Pin Valley

Wake up early morning and have your breakfast.
Visit the oldest monastery of Spiti Valley – Tabo Monastery. (if time permits)
Further, we visit Dhankar village and cover Dhankar Monastery.
Dhankar monastery offers a spectacular view of confluence of frozen Spiti and Pin River.
Reach Kaza and check-in at homestay/hotel.
Dinner and overnight stay at Kaza
Note: The visit to Dhankar Monastery is subject to weather conditions.

Day 05 :

Spiti Sightseeing | Key Monastery-Hikkim-Langza

Wake up early morning and after having the breakfast, head for Spiti Valley divine sightseeing.
Visit the most scenic monastery of Spiti Valley – The Key Monastery.
Visit the iconic villages of Spiti – Hikkim (location of the World’s Highest Post Office), Komic (the highest village in the world connected through a motorable road) & Langza (the site for the holy Buddha Statue).
Come back to Kaza by evening. Dinner and sleep overnight
Note: The visit to Hikkim, Komic, and Langza is subject to weather conditions.

Day 06 :

Drive Kaza-Chicham to Chandrataal via Kunzum La

Post-breakfast and check-out, further drive to the highest suspension bridge in Asia – The Chicham Bridge.
Head out to visit the pristine Chandrataal which is a crescent-shaped lake mimicking the moon. En route, we’ll be traversing the iconic Kunzum Pass.
On the way, take a pit stop for snacks at Losar, the last village of Spiti Valley.
Reach Chandra Taal by evening & check-in to the camps.
Dinner and stay in tents under the gaze of a million stars and the Milky Way Galaxy.
Note: If the weather conditions don’t permit us to stay in the camps near the Chandratal lake, we’ll stay in the Batal region instead.

Day 07 :

Chandra Taal to Manali & Café-Hopping

Post breakfast and checkout from camps, bid adieu to the middle land.
Take a scenic drive back to Manali and upon arrival, check in your hotel and if you want, you can take some rest to recharge yourself.
Later, you can explore Manali on your own. You can indulge yourself in a cafe hopping session or a shopping spree in the Mall Road.
Retreat to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 08 :

Manali Self Exploration & Departure to Delhi

After early morning breakfast, the rest of the day is at leisure.
Head out for self-exploration and spend some time indulging in Café Hopping, Old Manali Street, Hadimba Temple, Mall Road, etc.
Later in the evening, we will take an overnight bus from Manali to Delhi.

Day 09 :

Tour Concludes!

We will reach Delhi early morning at 9:00AM (tentative).
The group will part ways with fond memories from the trip.
