- You will then board your transfers to Shillong.
- Reach Shillong and check-in to your hotel.
- In the evening, you can visit the local market of Shillong for shopping, on your own. (If time permits).
- Return back to the hotel for an overnight stay in Shillong.
- Start your day early today and have your breakfast at the hotel.
- Get ready for the day and board your transfers to Shnonpdeng.
- On the way, we will take a short detour to the magnificent Laitlum Canyon.
- This Canyon was featured in the famous “Rock On 2” movie and is a perfect sight of green rolling hills, and deep gorges backed with the dramatic sky.
- We will also explore one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Meghalaya – Krang Shuri in Jowai.
- Next, we will continue our road journey to Shnonpdeng and reach there by evening.
- Check-in to the Riverside Camps/ Homestay in Shnonpdeng for an overnight stay.
- Post breakfast, we will indulge in adventure activities like Cliff Jumping, Boating, and Snorkeling, in the sparkling river.
- Afterward, we will head towards Cherrapunjee which is popular for its living root bridges and for the abundance of rainfall that this town witness every year.
- En route, we will be traversing the Indo-Bangla Border as we visit Mawlynnong which holds the title of Asia’s cleanest village and seems like a vast orchard of green canopies spreading across. The village also offers breathtaking views of the neighboring Bangladesh plains.
- Upon our arrival in Cherrapunjee, check-in & overnight stay at hotel.
- After early morning breakfast, we will visit the Seven Sister – Nohsngithiang Falls, which is a beautiful seven-segmented waterfall stretching along a rocky cliff.
- Afterward, we will be visiting one of the most notable landmarks in Cherrapunjee which is the Mawsmai Caves. The caves are made of limestone with stunning stalactites adorning the roofs giving them a mystical charm.
- Later, head towards Nongriat village and start our trek to the iconic Double Decker Living Roots Bridge. The trail consists of gushing sound of river, cluster of colorful butterflies, and enchanting forests making it extremely fulfilling.
- Afterward, we’ll head back to the hotel. Overnight stay in Cherrapunjee.
- Have your breakfast in the morning and board your transfers to Shillong.
- Before leaving Cherrapunji, you will visit the viewpoint of the amazing Nohkalilaki Falls and listen to the heart-wrenching story of Ka Likai, a tribal lady who jumped from the cliff of these falls, thus leaving her name to these magnificent waterfalls.
- Further, we will also go for a short hike at Wei Sawdong Waterfalls, just 14 km away from Nohkalikai Waterfalls.
- After hiking down the thrall through lush green forests, you will be greeted with the beautiful sight of the 3-tired Wei-Sawdong Falls.
- Reach Shillong for an overnight stay.
- After early morning breakfast, we’ll check out of our hotel rooms & head back to Guwahati. Enroute, you will visit the popular Umiam Lake which is one of the biggest artificial lakes in Meghalaya.
- Upon reaching Guwahati, the group will go their separate ways, to their respective cities according to their own scheduled departure.
- Bid Adieu to Meghalaya by taking a lot of memories to cherish
