It is a cold desert with all the warmth we need in life. We ride across the city and visit the hall of fame, Shanti Stupa, Pathar Sahib Gurudwara, and magnetic hill to woo science! However, what tops thejourney is a visit to the Turtuk village, which is one of the northmost villages of our country. Leh trip with Turtuk village also includes an adrenaline-filled ride to the top Khardung La, the colorful Pangong Tso, and the desert of Nubra Valley!

- We will also visit other tourist attractions such as Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic hill which is an anti-gravity hill as well as The Hall of Fame which is a war memorial maintained by the Indian Army.
- The last stop on our sightseeing tour is the iconic Shanti Stupa known for its beautiful white dome shape, statues, and intricate carvings.
- We will return to our Hotel where dinner will be served in the evening followed by an overnight stay in Leh.

- Post breakfast, we’ll head out for Nubra Valley.
- Enroute, we will make a pit stop at one of the Highest Motorable Roads in the World, Khardung La (18,380 ft.).
- Upon reaching Nubra Valley, we’ll check into our campsite.
- In the evening, travellers can indulge in a Double Hump Bactrian Camel Ride, ATV rides, and more. (on personal expense)
- Dinner will be served followed by an overnight stay in Nubra Valley.

- After breakfast, we’ll be heading out to Turtuk which is the last village of India on the Indo-Pak border renowned for its apricots.
- Upon our arrival in Turtuk, we’ll spend some time exploring the beautiful village.
- We’ll head back to Nubra by the evening where we’ll have dinner followed by an overnight stay.
Highlights: Turtuk Village & Thang – Indo Pak Border
- Post breakfast, we will check out from our campsite and head towards Pangong Tso, the iconic lake that has gained popularity ever since featuring in Bollywood blockbuster movies like 3 Idiots & Jab tak hai Jaan.
- Enroute, we will visit the Diskit Monastery, popular for the 100ft tall colorful statue of Buddha.
- After paying our reverence at the monastery, we will resume our journey.
- Upon reaching Pangong, we will check in to our cottages where we will have dinner followed by an overnight stay.
Highlights: Diskit Monastery & Pangong Tso Lake.
- After spending a night under the starry skies and waking up to the beautiful view of Pangong Lake, we will have breakfast early in the morning.
- Traversing through Chang La Pass (17,688 Ft.), which is one of the highest passes in the world, we will head back to Leh.
- Enroute, we will visit the Shey Palace which is popular for its 12-meter-tall gold-gilded statue of Buddha. We will also pay our respects at Thiksey Monastery, which is the largest Monastery in Central Ladakh.
- Upon reaching Leh, we will check into our designated hotel where we will have dinner and spend the night.

FAQs
The best time to visit Leh Ladakh and Turtuk is from May to September, when the weather is pleasant, and the roads are open for travel.
You can reach Leh by air via the Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport, or by road from Manali or Srinagar, with breathtaking mountain routes.
Turtuk is the northernmost village of India, near the Pakistan border, and is culturally rich, showcasing a mix of Balti and Ladakhi traditions.
In Leh, visit Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace, Thiksey Monastery, and the Hall of Fame Museum for a mix of history, culture, and panoramic views.
The road from Leh to Turtuk (approx. 200 km) passes through the Nubra Valley, crossing Khardung La, one of the world’s highest motorable passes.
Leh sits at around 3,500 meters (11,500 feet), while Turtuk is at a slightly lower altitude of around 3,000 meters (9,843 feet), so travelers should acclimatize to avoid altitude sickness.
In Leh, try dishes like Thukpa (noodle soup), Momos, and Skyu (a traditional Ladakhi stew). In Turtuk, enjoy apricots, local bread, and Balti cuisine.
Mobile network coverage is limited in Turtuk, with BSNL and Jio being the most reliable networks. It’s best to be prepared for minimal connectivity.
There are a few ATMs in Leh, but they are limited in places like Nubra Valley and Turtuk, so carrying sufficient cash is recommended.
