Bathe in the aura of spirituality and thrill as you trek amidst the mighty Himalayas all the way to the head of the beautiful Mandakini River. One can also visit the Bhairav Temple, the fierce manifestation of Lord Shiva, nestled south of the Kedarnath Temple, approximately one kilometre uphill. The scenic views on the way to the Kedarnath Temple will make you spellbound and the divinity that roams in the air will make your every second worthwhile.

- Overnight journey to Haridwar.
- Reach Haridwar in the Morning, where you can rest for a while before starting your onward journey to Guptkashi.
- At around 8.30-10.00 AM proceed towards Guptkashi, On the way take a short stopover at Devprayag where you can witness the Holy Sangam of Bhagirathi and Alaknanda that together form Ganga.
- After this, you’ll get back on the way to Guptkashi witnessing some of the most Beautiful Landscapes.
- On reaching Guptkashi, Check-In into the Hotel.
- Overnight stay at Guptkashi.
- Wake up early morning & head towards Sonprayag where your trekking to Kedarnath will start.
- Have a delicious breakfast & get transferred from Guptkashi to Sonprayag.
- Once we reach Soprayag, we have to walk to the Government Union taxi stand, to reach Gaurikund. (Walk for 1Km as no private vehicles are allowed in Gaurikund).
- Reach Gaurikund, Start the trek to the Kedarnath from Gaurikund.
- On reaching Kedarnath, you’ll witness the whole valley is filled with the sound of ringing bells and prayers going on everywhere this will surely provide relief to your soul.
- Overnight stay in Kedarnath.
- Wake up early for the morning aarti and worship Lord Shiva. Have your breakfast and start descending back.
- Before descending perform the puja ceremony at Kedarnath temple and be a part of rituals done by locals.
- After breakfast, you will be transferred to Gaurikund, it is a base camp for Kedarnath and also is an important site in Hinduism. It is believed to be the place where Lord Shiva confessed his love for Goddess Parvati.
- Reach at Sonprayag by evening and directly head to Chopta.
- Chopta is a village surrounded by dense pine forest.
- Arrive at Chopta campsite and freshen up.
- Have your dinner and overnight stay at Chopta
- Wake up early to a beautiful morning and freshen up.
- Have your nutritious breakfast and start your trek to Tungnath.
- Tungnath is a small easy trek which is around 3.5km.
- Tungnath (the lord of peaks), this temple is the world’s highest shiva temple.
- Trek to Chandrashila and get a chance to see 360-degree view of the wonderful mountains (if weather permits).
- Descend down and start your drive to Rishikesh.
- Reach Rishikesh by late evening and freshen up.
- Have dinner & Overnight stay at Rishikesh.
- Wake up early morning and have your breakfast.
- Check out from your camps and get ready for activities.
- Enjoy the adventurous river rafting at Rishikesh and many more activities.
- Head out for a local sightseeing tour where we’d be visiting the iconic Beatles Ashram, Ram Jhula, and Lakshman Jhula. In the evening, we will witness the Holy Ganga Aarti.
- Later stroll through the local market and check out different Hippie Cafe’s.
- Overnight Journey to Delhi & reach next morning.
- Early morning arrival at Delhi.
- The trip ends with peace and in wonderful memories of Lord Shiva

- Paragliding cost is excluded. Any kind of food or beverage that is not included in the package like alcoholic drinks, mineral water, meals/refreshments/lunches on the highway.
- Any personal expenses like a tip to the drivers, entry to monuments/ monasteries, camera/video camera charges, camel safari, river rafting, laundry, telephone bills, tips, etc.
- Any cost arising due to traffic/ weather/ natural calamities like landslides, roadblocks etc. (to be borne directly by the customer on the spot)

FAQ's
- Best Time: May to mid-November. The Kedarnath temple opens in May and closes after Diwali due to heavy snowfall in the region.
- Peak Season: May-June and September-October, after the monsoons when the weather is pleasant and the views are stunning.
- Difficulty Level: Moderate to Difficult. The 16 km trek can be steep in places, but the path is well-maintained.
- Duration: Takes around 6-8 hours depending on your pace.
- Altitude: Kedarnath is at 3,583 meters (11,755 feet).
- Essentials: Sturdy trekking shoes, warm clothes, raincoat (especially during monsoons), personal medical kit, and flashlight.
- Lightweight: Since it’s a backpacking trip, pack light but ensure you have layered clothing as temperatures drop significantly at night.
- Documents: Carry a valid ID for registration at checkpoints.
- Hydration: Stay hydrated, but drink in small sips. The high altitude can cause dehydration.
- Acclimatization: If possible, spend a night at lower altitudes before trekking to help your body adjust.
- Altitude Sickness: Watch for symptoms like headache, dizziness, and shortness of breath. If you experience severe symptoms, descend immediately.
- Travel Insurance: Consider travel insurance that covers high-altitude trekking.
- Mobile Network: Only BSNL has a patchy signal at Kedarnath. It’s better at lower points like Gaurikund or Sonprayag.
- ATMs: Available at Sonprayag and Gaurikund, but there are no ATMs in Kedarnath. Carry enough cash as electronic payment options are limited.
We recommend cardio exercises, light strength training, and practice walks before the trip. Ensure you are accustomed to walking long distances.
