Itinerary
Day 0 :
Departure for Shimla in Night from Delhi
- We start our journey via road towards Shimla in the evening from Delhi.
- Reporting at ISBT Kashmiri Gate, Delhi at approx. 9:00 PM
Day 1 :
Travel from Shimla to Chitkul - Last Indian Village
- Adventurous road trip starts from Shimla early in the morning.
- Journey towards Chitkul passes through breathtaking roads of Kinnaur Valley.
- Visiting Chitkul – which is the last village of the Baspa Valley and the last village on the old Hindustan-Tibet trade route.
- Overnight stay at Chitkul/Kalpa.
- Breakfast & dinner Included.
Day 2 :
Chitkul to Tabo Travel via Nako Lake
- After experiencing village life of Chitkul journey starts towards Tabo.
- This road passes near the India-Tibet border & Khab Sangam of Spiti & Sutlej River (Sutlej River originates from Mansarovar lake in Tibet)
- Visit Nako Lake on the way.
- Overnight Stay in Homestay at Tabo.
- Breakfast & dinner included.
Day 3 :
Explore Tabo & Dhankar Village
- Visiting 1000 years old Tabo Monastery & 360′ view of the sky.
- Tabo have a plethora of wall paintings and mud statues.
- Then, explore Dhankar Village & Gompa – located on the cliff edge and gives a panoramic view of the entire valley.
- Evening travel to Kaza – the headquarters of Spiti Valley.
- Explore Kaza market & enjoy local vibes.
- Night Stay in Homestay/Hotel at Kaza.

Day 4 :
Day for Key, Komic, Langza & Hikkim
- Day for exploring main attractions of the Spiti Valley.
- Key – which is the largest Tibetan Buddhist Monastery of Spiti Valley and a religious training centre for Lamas. Key is also known for its beautiful Murals, Thankas, rare Manuscripts, Stucco images and peculiar wind instruments.
- Visit Komic Gompa at the world’s highest (15,050 ft) motorable village.
- Langza is famous for huge Buddha Statue (14300 ft) facing the mountains overlooking the valley. Langzaa is also rich in fossils of marine animals and plants.
- Hikkim is famous for housing the world’s highest (14,400 ft) post office.
- Night stay at Kaza.

Day 5 :
Visiting Kibber, Chicham & then toward Chandra Taal
- Check out & visit attractions of Spiti Valley.
- Kibber – known for its scenic mountains, barren splendor and monasteries.
- Chicham Bridge is the Asia’s highest bridge.
- Travel to Chandra Taal via Chicham Bridge
- Chandra Taal known as the trekker’s paradise & also called Moon lake. It is on the Samudra Tapu plateau, which overlooks Chandra river.
- Night stay at Chandra Taal/Batal Camp (In some cases, due to unavailability, weather issues, or local conditions, the stay will be provided in Manali)
- Breakfast & Dinner included

- Chandratal Lake typically opens in June and remains accessible until the end of September.
- From October to May, or in case of unforeseen circumstances, we stay in Kaza and then proceed via Kalpa and Shimla as per the Winter Spiti Road Trip Route.
Day 6 :
Travel towards Manali via Attal Tunnel
- Morning visit to Chandra Taal
- Travel to Manali via Chhatru
- Passing through one of the world’s most thrilling & scenic route.
- Journey through Attal Tunnel & Solang Valley
- Night stay at/near Manali.

Day 7 :
Day for Manali Sightseeing & Returning to Delhi
- This day is dedicated to experiencing the best of Manali. Begin with thrilling adventure activities like Paragliding and Rafting.
- After the exhilarating experiences, explore the popular sightseeing places in Manali, such as the Hadimba Devi Temple, Manali Mall Road Market, and the charming Old Manali area.
- Strat return journey from Manali in the late evening.

We have 16 to 35 years age limit for Spiti Valley Group Trips. The irinerary involves long drives and high altitudes, which may not be suitable for very young children or those with health issues. One should opt for more relaxed itinerary and a private trip, If you have children or senior citizens with you.
What kind of food is available during the trip?
We provide Vegetarian food at our stays. Expect a mix of basic North Indian meals and local Himachali cuisine. Inform us in advance if you wish to have Jain or Swaminarayan food.
